Aburi Ceramics

Jordan is a visual artist located in Adelaide, producing small batch ceramics, specialising in gas fired tableware for restaurants and residential projects.

The name Aburi is borrowed from the Japanese term flame seared - ubiquitously seen across Australian sushi menus - and references both the context in which the ceramics are made and the location in which they’re intended.

Aburi celebrates food and fire and has worked with top restaurants and wineries including Penfolds Magill Estate Restaurant, Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant, Woodstock Winery, The Pot by Emma McCaskill, Nido Bar & Pasta, Leigh St Wine Room and Sparkke At The Whitmore.
